A Gay Science Fiction Romance Novel!

Is that another way of describing hot space-based all-male erotica?

...maybe so, though I think it's a fun plot, maybe a bit humorous, and yeah, I have to admit that certain scenes are hotter than I imagined I could pull off.

Yes, that one really has purple skin.
But only some of the time, as it tends to change based on his emotions, the types of feelings and their intensity. That would make it very difficult to ever lie, wouldn't it? That would probably be both a blessing and a curse, depending on the situation...

But aside from that, what about this concept?

Beautiful men making love in Zero Gravity...

Try not to think of the logistics of body fluids in Zero Gravity.
Just trust me. The more you think about it, the less practical such a love-making session will seem. Probably like the Mile High Club, joining the Million Mile High Club is also probably a "done it, marked off the Bucket List" kind of experience.

But that's just my opinion. My characters seem a bit more voracious in their efforts to make Space Man Sex a possible everyday normal option. I'm not judging them, of course.

Different Strokes for Different Folks.

This Project is to take my novel through the full Self-Publication and Promotion Process that is simplified and effective in modern publication. I am an Amazon.com supporter regarding their editing, formatting, marketing and promotional efforts.

Below are some options for donations/pre-sale of this book, estimated to be finished within six weeks to two months (Deadline: Week of December 25, 2013 - tentatively while working from the belief that Comet ISON won't blow by and get in the way of my book's birth with its pesky idea of a Cataclysm).

The amounts listed to support are suggestions and are considered pre-sales of the work, and they're only mine if said work is completed (that's worth stating as ethical reality, I think)
Al supporters of any level will be purchasing a eBook copy in their preferred format or reader.

electronic copy of the book and personal thanks/recognition for supporting this effort in writing within the text/dedication pages.
And the overall Goal Amount of this project is the expense of the full promotional and publication package (with all editing, assistance, promotion and review) with Amazon's preferred publication partner: CREATESPACE

So how about some basic plot elements without divulging all creative elements to the Public Domain?

Yes, A Gay Sci-Fi Romance Novel!

The beautiful to anyone buy himself First Officer of a Government Deep Space Transport Ship is Misunderstood, both by himself and most anyone he knows. He's the child of a human and a race of rare extraterrestrial humanoids that he's never had interaction with.

His only friend is the ship's artificial intelligence and Commanding Officer, but recently an electronic failure altered its programming. Now "it" has decided that it has always been a "he," but on the inside "he" was in reality always a "she." The AI has decided it has Gender Identity Disorder.
Yes, one could perhaps refer to the AI as a robotic tranny, but don't think about giving the Boss Bitch any of that sass or attitude without paying a price, Ok? That one (especially since the accident) is known to quickly turn off Life Support to make a point. Seriously, don't say you haven't been warned... You'll feel really apologetic when you're turning blue as the nearest computer station is screeching, "What you think about your rude, messed up, backwards little prejudiced asshole of an opinion now, human?!"

You'd probably apologize to her if you could breathe...

Through 23rd Century Holographic Internet use and wasted Virtual Reality Dating, this beauty of a hybrid human origin remains hopeful of finding love... somewhere in the Cosmos. One evening he's gazing at the stars, and he dares to admit out loud he wants it all - love, sex, adventure and a reason for believing in himself.

And as the Universe has a rule about what is will manifest: "ask and you shall receive." It shouldn't be any surprise when a maladjusted but oddly honorable space pirate (too hot for his own good, of course) crashes in to the story at the first available opportunity.

And so a tale is told, with extraterrestrial twists, appropriate use of science and current space tech theories (with creative license), and a young kindhearted man with some cool psychic gifts (and who sometimes has purple skin) learns the power of love and having someone really believe in him.

...and as of right now there is only one reference so far in the whole book about any so-called "Butt Pirates in Space."

There had to be one, right? I can't have a sassy tranny robot ladyboy Captain with the power to cut off the Oxygen Supply without at least recognizing that she would pick up on that idea eventually. One can't ignore the absolutely obvious when trying to create some sort of realism in fictional characters... right?

(Yeah, I do see how interesting it is to use the word "realism" immediately after defending the antics of a tranny computerized person who may or may not be willing to commit homicide in the name of LGBT rights... How about "Relative Realism" or just"Space Opera Realness," instead?)

Thank you for reading about my Project.
